Good & bad News zu Weihnachten 2024

Liebe Freunde von FOOD FOR PHILIPPINES (FFP) www.foodforphilippines.org

Zu Weihnachten 2024 haben wir sehr Erfreuliches zu vermelden, zunächst von unserem FFP-Projekt "Mind-blowing MIND-Food for Philippines": Unsere 5 von FFP geförderten Youngsters (aka) Nicole, (aka) Arvin, (aka) Noah, (aka) Tala und (aka) Elias machen einen tollen Job in der Schule und an der Uni und bringen tolle (Zwischen-) Zeugnisse nach Hause. Wir sind mit ihnen stolz und gratulieren! Nicole wird als Älteste und Erste im Jahr 2025 in ihrem STI Tourism Expert-Studium graduieren!

Und wir haben unsere Statuten, die Vereinsorgane, Buchhaltung/Budget und unsere Homepage neu bestellt! Alles ist via unser "EXCEL Zentraldokument Verein FFP" öffentlich, transparent und online einsehbar.

Leider haben wir auch bedenkliche Nachrichten: In unserem Jahresbericht (siehe "FFP Statuten Organe Jahresbericht") weisen wir einen noch ungedeckten Spendenbedarf von mindestens CHF 6'280.- im neuen Vereinsjahr aus. Ohne die Scholarships von FFP müssten unsere Schützlinge ihre für philippinische Verhältnisse sehr teure Ausbildung abbrechen, was wir unfassbar traurig fänden. Also bitten wir dich, zu Ehren des heutigen 4. At Christmas 2024, we have very good news to report, first of all from our FFP project “Mind-blowing MIND-Food for Philippines”: Our 5 FFP-supported youngsters (aka) Nicole, (aka) Arvin, (aka) Noah, (aka) Tala and (aka) Elias are doing a great job at school and university and are bringing home great (interim) certificates. We are proud of them and congratulate them! Nicole will be the oldest and first to graduate in her STI Tourism Expert studies in 2025!

And we have reordered our statutes, the board of the FFP association, accounting/budget and our homepage! Everything is public, transparent and accessible online via our “EXCEL Zentraldokument Verein FFP”.

Unfortunately, we also have some worrying news: In our annual report (see “FFP Statuten Organe Jahresbericht”) we show an uncovered need for donations of at least CHF 6'280.- in the new association year. Without the scholarships of FFP, our protégés would have to abandon their education (which is very expensive by Philippine standards) and which we would find incredibly sad.
