Nur ein Tag nach den schrecklichen Überschwemmungen in Silay konnte FOOD FOR PHILIPPINES wenigstens 27 Hauptbetroffenen in unserer Nachbarschaft Notnahrung in Form von je 25 kg Reis zukommen lassen. Alle 27 Squatter People haben stark beschädigte oder gar zerstörte Häuser! Es herrschte grosse Freude und tiefe Dankbarkeit über die Food-Übergabe. Ergreifend zu sehen, dass unsere philippinischen Freunde auch angesichts schlimmer Verluste und Verzweiflung Lebensmut zeigen und sogar fröhlich sein können! Siehe Pics & Vids hier:

Just one day after the terrible flooding in Silay, FOOD FOR PHILIPPINES was able to provide first aid food in the form of 25 kg of rice each to at least 27 of the most affected owner or inhabitants of houses in our neighborhood. All 27 of these squatter people have badly damaged or even destroyed houses now! There was great joy and deep gratitude about the food delivery. It is very touching to see that our Filipino friends can show courage and even be happy in the face of awful losses and despair!
