Wie ihr, die Sympathisanten und Donatoren von Food for Philippines (FFP), wisst, verteilen wir nicht nur Food Care Pacs als kurzfristige Hungerhilfe für Notleidende, sondern wir unterstützen seit einem Jahr auch fünf uns besonders nahe stehende und besonders begabte Jugendliche.
Dank euch Sponsoren können sich unsere fünf Youngsters Nicole, Arvin, Noah, Tala und Elias die teure Schule und ein noch teureres Studium leisten. Unserer Überzeugung nach ist das eine nachhaltige Förderung und unsere Boys & Girls brennen nicht nur darauf, aus unserem Support das beste zu machen, sondern auch ihre grösste Dankbarkeit euch, ihren Sponsoren, zu zeigen. Tatsächlich haben wir die 5 Richtigen „erwischt“, alle sind sie top-motiviert und gehören zu den Besten ihres Jahrgangs. Hier, ihre Dankschreiben an euch, die Sponsoren.
Als Begleiter von Nicole, Arvin, Noah, Tala und Elias können wir nur sagen: Hut ab, Stipendien optimal genutzt, weiter so! Nur ist es leider so, dass unsere Schützlinge je älter sie werden, desto höhere Ausbildungskosten generieren. V.a. unsere beiden Ältesten Nicole und Arvin kosten desto mehr, je näher sie dem Uniabschluss kommen. Von daher bitten wir um eure nicht nachlassende Spendenfreudigkeit und scheut euch auch keineswegs davor, den einen oder anderen Kontakt zu den Jungs und Mädchen zu knüpfen oder zu vertiefen. As you, the sympathizers and donors of Food for Philippines (FFP), know, we not only distribute Food Care Pacs as short-term hunger relief to those in need, but for the past year we have also been supporting five young people who are particularly close to us and especially talented.
Thanks to your sponsorship, our five youngsters Nicole, Arvin, Noah, Tala and Elias can afford an expensive school education and even more expensive studies at the university. We are convinced that this is sustainable support and our boys and girls are eager not only to make the most of your support, but also to show their utmost gratitude to you, their sponsors. As companions of Nicole, Arvin, Noah, Tala and Elias, we can only say: Hats off, scholarships put to optimal use, keep it up! But unfortunately, the older our protégés get, the higher their education costs become. Especially for our two eldest students Nicole and Arvin, the costs increase the closer they get to graduation.
